Alien Concept #3

Figured it is time to post some concept art I did last year and previewing the alien races for my Sci-fi project for you all.

The Dark Ones, they are a mysterious yet powerful and highly intelligent race which possesses the most powerful imperium known throughout the known galaxies, next to the Intergalactic Alliance and the M'shinra Empire. With their ice-cold calculating minds, imperialistic leaderships and military prowess, they one time pushed the Ogrim-horde back to their sector with ease (while the Intergalactic Alliance, with forces of three races combined, took years to win a war against them). The Dark Ones are naturally cold, emotionless and lack any remorse and due to that nature, the Intergalactic Alliance is extremely cautious whenever they're conducting business with them. Fortunately, the Dark Ones are not aggressive and would never conduct wars unless their dominion is challenged.

Here's some facts about them so far;
* The name "Dark Ones" is not their real name, it is just a label the humanity have given them. The true name of their species cannot be pronounced by human tongue, even with a universal translator implants.
* The Dark Ones speaks through a vibration sensory inside their bodies. The voices they produce sounds like a chilling deep voice that echoes through caves.
* Their one and only religion is based entirely on the black sun (tenebris sol) of their solar system.
* Due to their religion, the Dark Ones tend to call species outside their world "Light dwellers".
* It is said that their discovery of extraterrestrial life was from an accident. An unidentified star cruiser carelessly went straight to the Dark Ones' black sun.
* The "hair" on their heads is actually an organic substance shaped through harden gelatin.
* Both genders possesses only one single nipple located on the lower center of their chest.
* Though their bodies are mostly smooth like porcelain, their hands, forearms and feet are covered with sharp scales and claws.
* They possess a unique organ that functions both like a heart and a brain.
* They eat through consuming liquid from any part of their body. However, due to being evolved from carnivores, the Dark Ones only prefers blood of any species, whether they are animals or sentients.
