The J'va by NapalmKrillos The J'va by NapalmKrillos

The J'va is an all-female reptilian race who lives in Zlethiss's jungles and rain forests and one of the four members of the Zlethiss Council. Evolved from a serpentine origin, the J'va's bone structure has approximately 4,000 bones and 4,600 joints, allowing them great mobility and flexibility. They also uses this ability to stretch and ensnare their prey with their limbs like a snake's. J'va are proud warriors, always to look after their fellow sisters in both hunts and combat. Very territorial but reasonable, the J'va are very protective to their clan and always treats outsiders with stern suspicion, even to their own allies.

No male exist among the J'va (though they had been mentioned in legends and myths), so in order to reproduce, the J'va had to mate with males outside their species, namely from the other three ruling sentient species (L'zar, Gadarlans and the Izens). There have been rumors that the J'va can reproduce with mammals as well, but chances of impregnation are unlikely. If the rumor were true then the likely theory for this possibility is that they may have adapt this through their genetic history with the L'zar, which are a race of Therapsids.

A/N: This is the first alien species I've made for my little sci-fi project. I always wanted a race of reptilian extraterrestrial amazons. ^w^ I may update this information when I got more idea about them. These creatures used to bear the project name "Naja" till I came up with their official name. I also humorously gave them the nickname "octo-snakes" due to their cephalopod-like appearance.
