Kiyone Konno

Kiyone is a motorcycling adventurer and bounty hunter who is known to con numerous crime gangs for the thrill of challenge and vigilante justice and a close ally and friend to Ebony and Ivory.

PERSONALITY
Kiyone is kind and calm individual who is cheerful, considerate and honest. She treats her friends and family with outmost politeness and cherishment. She can be empathetic, particularly to Ivory and Ebony, due to her line of profession. She is highly intelligent and enjoys solving tricky challenges, no matter how dangerous it is. She has a passion for motorcycles.

On the other hand, she is also quite manipulative, deceptive and highly calculating and therefore makes people wary to trust her. Her strive for challenge, seeking justice upon evil and getting rich in the process in her work makes her a bit of a risk-taker, a vigilante and an opportunist. Fortunately, she knows what she’s doing.

HISTORY
In her early days, she was a young woman gifted with high intellect, cunning thinking, knowledgeable with motorcycles and even studied the teachings of tai chi martial arts. But unlike her siblings, who got themselves befitting jobs, Kiyone lacked any personal goal in her future and there were no profession that interests her either.

Things looked pretty aimless to her, until she accidentally stumbled in a criminal act committed by a pair of burglars. Using only her wit, she turns the tables against the burglars and subdues them before calling the police shortly.  From that moment, after experienced that ordeal, something began to spark within Kiyone.

The thrill of challenge. The action. The satisfaction of an outlaw’s defeat. The whole ordeal made Kiyone discover that she actually found the danger exciting and particularly enjoyed how she uses her mind to overcome the challenge. And that left her craving for more.

THE TRAVELING CON-ARTIST
Kiyone first joined with the police force, hoping to satisfy her craving for dangerous and righteous challenges. Though she had led quite a successful carrier as a policewoman, it would later be proved to be less than satisfactory due to be given too much desk work. So after three and a half years of service, she got herself an early retirement out of the blue and disappeared underground.

Since then, she became a motorcycling adventurer who foils the criminals with her manipulative wit and cunning and steals their loot or claims their bounty of their heads (or both) on the process. She eventually got the nickname “The Eastern Fox” during one of her adventures outside of Japan.

THE OKINAWA RIDER
Her most famous heist took place at the Okinawa Islands. There she took part of a racing contest in a motorcycle festival as a fellow racer. In truth, however, that was only serves as a front to one of her schemes. Her true goal lies in a secret meeting, where the negotiations between two crime bosses will take place.

Once the race started, Kiyone went to a different route unnoticed to reach a hidden spot far from the secret meeting. She then draped herself and her bike with cloak as a disguise. Then she waited for the right opportunity while the negotiations went underway. Finally, her prey has appeared; suitcase containing 17 million yen. She swooped in with her bike blazing, took the suitcase and rode off.

While the gangsters scatter in confusion, the police unexpectedly arrived (thanks to a little cooperation on Kiyone’s part and a timely tip off) to halt them in their search for her. Once she rode off to a blind spot, she ditched the disguise, hid the briefcase, and resumed the race. Surprisingly, even though she was far back in line, she managed to land on the fifth place. Though she never got to the first place, she left as a winner with 17 million yen in her possession and foiled crime at the same time.

Her heist would later come to light and she became quite popular for it, much to her surprise.

ACQUAINTED WITH THE DUO
Kiyone got acquainted with Ebony and Ivory by accident during one of their heists and after one good cooperation; they became fast friends and allies. She usually helps them by sharing information, giving advice and, whenever she’s nearby, helping them with a heist.

Ebony became a close friend to Kiyone and they often chat and hang out (whenever one of them is in the neighborhood) with each other when they’re not working. Ebony trust and cherish their friendship and so does Kiyone, but Ebony could not help but feel bit jealous whenever Kiyone starts flirting with Ivory.

Since Kiyone has this thing for boys with natural blond hair, she has gotten herself smitten in Ivory. She often tried to flirt with him whenever they’re alone and she could be quite bold. She even began calling him her “little mochi.” Ivory usually brushes off Kiyone’s advances due to being too busy with work (much to Ebony’s inner relief) but his flustered expression only assures her to keep on with the flirting, much to Ivory’s (and Ebony’s) annoyance.

TRIVIA
* Kiyone’s eyes are often “partially” closed due to the fact that they have a threateningly formation and eye color. She is strictly warns against people who wants to see them open.
       According to Kiyone, it is a family trait.
*Both Kiyone and Ebony has the same breast sizes.
* Kiyone has three siblings.
       Among them is her twin brother named Juno Konno, who works as a baker (specializing in mochi).
