Alien Concept #5

Figured it is time to post some concept art I did last year and previewing the alien races for my Sci-fi project for you all. This will be the final piece to post for now.

This race is called the Bo’Qur, a mysterious unallied race of skull-faced shamanic warriors. They are tribal by nature and follows on a belief that one must appreciate one world’s nature of life. There have been sightings of a group Bo’Qur travelling around the worlds that are rich with forest life. Sometimes a group would intentionally offer a warrior from a different race a challenge and faces against their warriors of “nature’s befit” for unknown reason. It is said that whenever a group of Bo’Qur would make an appearance, a thick fog would appear…

Here's some facts about them so far;
* Though the name of their homeworld is currently unknown, it is said that it contains mostly rain forests and it is constantly shrouded in mists.
* Their legs have four joints (opposed to the common biped’s leg of three joints) that could shift from leg to arm.
* Their feet could function as hands as well, thanks to their similar evolution to simians.
* First thought that they wore masks made of animal skulls, it is actually their natural faces since their facial bone structure has grown out of their skin.
* Due to the gender dimorphism, only the females’ facial bone structures stays the same while the males’ continues to randomly deform as they grow older.
* Because of that, the females have to wear face paint for identification.
* The Bo’Qurs has black fur and skin while their facial bone structures are naturally boney white.
